While drawing this elevator scene I was forced to realize that I didn't quite know what to do with the Tristam character.  I knew who he was, but I didn't know how much bite to put in him.  Was he totally scary, or just hidden scary, or mysterious, or what?  Plus, I'll freely admit that I was kind of down in the dumps while drawing them, so he does sort of come off harsher than I'd like.  But that's okay.  ^_^  I think I've figured out things by now.

In other news... I must express my disappointment in "Soul Caliber 2".  Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome game.  But I already played "Soul Caliber"... so if I'd known there was so little else I wouldn't have been as excited over the sequel.  A few new characters, some lame new characters that are really just old ones (Why do what they did with Beserker and Assassin?  Why not just have Hwang and Rock?  Yeesh!), very little in terms of at home secrets (A lame art gallery of the same promo art that's been seen again and again and again, and various swords that are basically "normal, strong, stronger, strongest".) and oddly enough... worse endings ("He found out that Soul Edge was evil!  He vowed to not become evil.  Then he went home.  End.").  It's still a good game, but I'm just disappointed after the ridiculous amounts of fanfare about it.  *giggles*  Kinda like that movie that came out earlier this summer that started with "M" and involved machines and stuff.  *smirk*

Lastly, we have fanart!  Woot!  I've missed a few pieces... but they were birthday presents, so they're all mine.  So, anyhow... fanart!  It's from Nichole of "Only Human".  See it here!
