So, yeah. "Troy" comes out tomorrow.

I was talking with my roommate tonight and I think I can figure out a way to do the Iliad without the dieties and all. I could see it. But to tell the story of Achilles without the gay? How the hell do you do that. It's all about the gay.

Short summary: The King of the Greeks takes Achilles' female love... he then refuses to fight. He continues to refuse to fight, but allows his little lover-boy to and fight in his steed. Hector kills the little boy and takes his armor... then a huge battle is waged over the boy's corpse that only ends when Achilles walks out into the battlefield -unarmed- and screams in sadness for his lost love. He then proceeds on his mission to avenge his lover boy that only ends after he kills Hector. Sometime later he is shot in the hell and dies.

You'll notice the GAY. How can Hollywood find a way around this? I'm almost tempted to see the movie and endure Brad Pitt's naked ass just to find out how there can possibly be a movie about Achilles with the gay in it.

Indeed. HOW?  I must ponder this further... it... baffles me... it really really does....

...as you can tell, I read a lot of mythology as a kid.
