I have interesting ways of
celebrating my birthday, I suppose. Game Crazy, where my
girlfriend works, is having a retro games 3-for-$15 right now... so
we've been picking up quite a few. But, of course, they come in
either sleeves or empty cases. Why for the love of god can't
people keep their games in the cases with the instructions?
See, I'm rather... I don't know... obsessed with organizing my
shit. I have bookshelves... because I love having things on
them. Books, magazines, comics, music, movies, video games... I
don't freakin' care, I just want it on there and organized and labeled
for me to browse. I love that. So these unlabeled jewel
cases certainly will not work. And a sleeve? Don't insult
me. So I make my own labels. Nothing fancy... most of the
earlier labels I'd made were just black and white with the title of the
game, the system and who made it. Amy wanted to go further and
put on logos and images... which I just didn't have the ink in my
printer for. So what did I do? Bought a new printer.
*laughs* It was old... and now I can produce lovely labels for my
video games that match or beat the official ones.
Bwahahahaha!
I also so "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"... and, of course, I
really know nothing about the radio/show/books/play... so I enjoyed it
enough. And now I will never look at a dolphin the same
way. *nod nod*
