For anyone who doesn't
recognise him, Tristam originally showed up way back in Comic 121. I'm not really sure why I
revealed who he was here instead of continuing to draw him as the "speaker in the shadows", but I did. I
suppose that I had been planning on doing some subplot where he might
have pretended to be who he was not, but really, what's the
point? It would have just dragged on longer, and considering that
I have talking gerbils and all, subtle plots don't really fit
here. Indeed.
And for the hopelessly clueless, the thing at Jessom/The Duke's feet is
a tied up dog. Who is Earnest, the Gatekeeper. *shrugs and
yawns*
