In a rare odd moment I drew, erased and redrew
the main bulk of this comic several times before I was satisfied enough
to leave it be. I just wanted a simplish comic with Gibson running off
of the crab-mech, him dodging a large projectile that suddenly is
flying at him and then the final panel with that projectile hitting The
Duke's tank while Gibson is blasting away with his guns. The first and
last panel were easy (I love drawing little lines to indicate fire from Gibson's guns.), but that's a very hard angle to draw someone at even when you consider the abstractness of the comic style.
In other thoughts, the new Smash Bros. hits the US in just one week.
And of course I have to be there for the midnight release promos. In
costume. In Mr. Game & Watch costume. Why do I do these things?
