One
of the things that has made me not want to deal much with Tristam is
motivation. I had a rough idea of why he would be willing to be
so ruthless to take control of YAOI, but nothing had been set down in
stone. Since I'd let him make use of insanely zany assassins I
felt that he really needed a damn good reason for what he's
doing. I just don't enjoy villians who don't have their
motivation clear. It makes them more interesting to me.
Tim wants more power, he wants to be in the position that Tristam is in
now. The Duke is driven mad by envy of air breathers, Gibson
wants the power he has now and he's being forced to help in order to
maintain it, lastly Kaev is completely devoted to Tristam... not that
Tristam knows why, of course.
I'm going to be spending a while in Flashback Theater detailing just
why Tristam is driven to do what he does. In other words I am
going to be torture the crap out of this poor boy.
